Seismic Transformation and Classification STAC™
A process of discovery.

Step 1 – STAC™ Workflow: First we create rock physics and geomechanical attributes from well log data.

Step 2 – STAC™ Workflow: Next, we take the pre-stack 3D or 2D seismic dataset and pass it through a customized, optimized, geophysical process to obtain fundamental rock properties.

Step 3 – STAC™ Workflow: Relating the seismically derived cross plots to the well log derived cross plots using OSI’s in-house IMAC™ software, and following an extensive iterative verification process (involving as much or as little hands-on client involvement as you see fit), we are able to determine seismic volumes of key reservoir characteristics.

Step 4 – STAC™ Workflow: The next step is up to you... as you apply our insights to develop your reservoir in a more efficient, more cost effective manner.

What attribute(s) would provide the greatest value to your exploration and production efforts? Let's talk.

Oil Sands Imaging has developed (and is continually refining) our highly integrated, quantitative interpretation workflow, known as STAC™. It’s a journey of discovery that turns the latest Rock Physics and Geomechanics theory into practice – revealing your reservoir with an extremely high degree of accuracy.
