Job Description: Senior Geophysicist
Position: We are looking for an independent, creative thinker who pays attention to detail, but is always aware of the big picture; someone curious and persistent with sound scientific knowledge who can implement established workflows, but also think outside the conventional and inspire change through technical innovation. The ideal candidate would already be respected in the technical community with a desire to push the limits of his/her art and expand the influence of advanced geoscience. With strong written and oral communication skills, he/she will help raise the profile of the company and attract new clients through presentations at local and international conferences.
Experience required: minimum 15 years of varied quantitative interpretation (AVO, inversion, multi-attribute methods), seismic processing and/or rock physics related research experience with a strong geological understanding. Familiarity with the more common geophysical software such as Hampson-Russell would be an asset.
